Larry’s Offensive Video
I made this about three years ago. Take a look at it…it’s not long.
I got more negative comments about this one than anything else I’ve ever done. Some found it obnoxious to video tape another car (guilty as charged).
Others thought I was being too hard on a lady who was trying to carve out a living with Avon.
Funny thing is, I eventually found out who this was, because she saw the video. She took what I had to say to heart. We’re now pals.
Would I make this same video again? Absolutely!
Anything that pisses off a segment of the population is always educating, enriching and inspiring another segment.
See how you respond to this. Feel free to be P.O.’ed if you like.
But if you’re a marketer of any kind, keep your mind open to what you can learn.
Your Pal,
Larry
The Perfect, Present Moment Before The Storm
5:49 PM on Friday.
If the weather reports are correct, in about 32 hours, Hurricane Irene will descend upon Connecticut.
The preparations are complete. I’ve done all I’m in a position to do. Got everything that could blow around inside the house or the garage.
Got an extra propane tank for the grill.
Got extra gasoline for the generator.
Got lots of nonperishable foods.
Got plenty of bottled water, and two giants tubs of water ready to go for washing and flushing toilets.
Got batteries and lighters, and lots of candles.
It’s out of my hands.
I’m looking outside as I type these words. There’s a typical late afternoon summer feeling. A bit muggy, but the satisfaction of a work week ended.
The one perfect, present moment.
I’m using it to feel every ounce of gratitude for having the resources available to protect my home and my family.
I don’t know how my house will come out of the hurricane. Will the roof stay on? Will the windows stay intact? Will the basement flood?
Don’t know.
So I’m also expressing gratitude for having developed the calm center…the ability to stay in this one, perfect present moment.
I know some will panic. I know some will lose their homes. We could be among them.
My homeowners insurance is up to date. More appreciation, more gratitude.
The skill of knowing that no matter what happens, we don’t have to get too attached to any thing. We’re here to have adventures. We’re here to learn, grow and love.
So if you don’t here from me for a few days, count on my being in the center of the adventure.
And in this moment, I feel humbled and delighted in being able to reach out and communicate with the world.
In this one perfect, present moment.
Fun And Excitement With Juggle To Success
Come join in the fun as I show the leaders Planetree how to juggle at their leadership retreat. By the end of the day these folks changed their beliefs about what was possible. They also supported each other, took healthy risks, improved their leadership skills and sharpened their vision and goals for their personal and professional lives. If you’d like the same for your organization – whether it’s a school, college, health agency, marketing or sales group, or anyone else, CLICK HERE to check it out.
Juggling…Just For Fun
The first juggling video I ever made. In fact, I think the first video I ever made, period. Shot five years ago in August 2006.
The “exotic” location? Madison, Wisconsin.
Yeah, it’s a filler video. Actually working on a specialty writing project for a client.
Then again, I think I’ll choose to look at it as a celebration. A back to my roots kinda thing.
After all, learning to juggle freed me up spiritually and emotionally…and contributed a heck of a lot financially as well!
Obviously shot before we knew a whole lot about editing as well.
Have a magnificent day!
Interview at INSPIRE ME TODAY!
CLICK HERE to take a listen to my interview with Gail Lynne Goodwin at Inspire Me Today. She got some good stuff out of me, an I have to say…she has one of the greatest radio voice I’ve ever heard!
Much publishing today….I’m actually writing for someone else. But the energy around it is coming back to me, as well as others.
Have yourself a fantastic week!
