I just recorded an audio training called Happiness Stops At The Water’s Edge. It’s all about the illusion and, well…unhappiness that the search for happiness brings upon so many of us.
If you’re not signed up for Breaking The Seven Barriers To Success, get it now. Run… Don’t walk!
I won’t say too much about it, because it really is only for people were willing to take the step of signing up for the course and listen. But I will say this…
True happiness doesn’t come from stamping your feet shouting, whistling, and generally making an ass of yourself in front of a large group of people.
True happiness does come when you’re doing the things that align with who you are, and what’s important to you.
And yes, some of the evidence of true happiness is in the stuff. The money, the cars, the jewelry, the house, etc.
More of the evidence of true happiness is how you feel when you wake up in the morning, and how you feel when you go to bed at night.
So let me ask you…
Are you happy?
Years ago, I asked myself that question, honestly, for the first time in a long time. I didn’t like the answer I gave myself, but it was one of the most liberating things I’ve ever done.
Because when I finally admitted, no I am not happy, it gave me the permission to change.
To ask for something different. And to be the person who grows into it.
I was able to stop faking happiness once and for all, and actually do the things that create happiness.
The feelings came first. The pride returned. The self-respect returned. The sense of humor returned. Lots of other good stuff, too.
In the the real sense of the word, all the good stuff showed up.
The money. The romance. The muscles that were starting to disappear under a layer of middle-aged fat,
A few other things that are too personal to share here.
Many of the people I work with go through the exact same thing. They spend crazy amounts of energy trying to convince themselves that they are… Happy.
But they’re not. And they’re deathly afraid to admit that to themselves. They don’t want to admit failure. They don’t want to admit disappointment. They don’t want to do anything that makes it look like they’ve been wasting their time.
And they don’t want to disappoint the people around them.
How disappointed do you think those people will be when they find out that you’re living a fraction of the life you could be?
And how liberating and freaking good will it feel when you step into all of the power you’ve been hiding all this time? How good will it feel when you can finally crawl out from under that self-delusion and say…
“Dammit… I want more I deserve more. I am more.”
If you have the balls to admit to yourself, and to me that you are unhappy, I am calling out to you.
No special offers. No insane discounts. No limited time anything.
