A quick glance at the relationships. And the adventure. And the fulfillment.
And sure, the health and the financial situation.
Not perfect. (There’s no such thing anyway.)
But compared to where it’s been in the past, unbelievably good.
Truth is, I pictured much of this.
Some parts more clearly than others.
I pictured upgrades and renovations to our home.
In progress and coming along nicely.
I pictured my body in a state of health, strength and vitality.
I pictured having a financial situation that would allow us to live in prosperity and adventure…not having money hold us back from being the people we want to be.
I pictured having a life partner and best friend I can share the important stuff with.
Got it, and evolving every day.
Yes, we get to take credit for the good things in our life.
Because on some level we set them in motion long before they showed up.
With our thoughts.
And with our emotional response to those thoughts.
When Law of Attraction and The Secret hit critical mass in 2006, people lined up around the block to “ask, believe and receive.”
They weren’t wrong. When you start asking for something good, you set a process in motion that gives little glimpses of those things.
But the glimpses aren’t enough.
You have to grow into the person who is ready to receive them.
And that’s where you have to be careful.
Because when you start imagining a better life than you have now, you don’t get it for free.
Deeply held thoughts about yourself and your place in the world show up.
And nearly every time, they have to be challenged and uprooted.
That isn’t easy.
It’s incredibly hard, even if those thoughts keep you broke, unhealthy and miserable.
We don’t like letting go of how we see ourselves. It’s safe, even if it sucks.
We have to be in enough pain so that the desire for something different overwhelms the fear of the unknown.
But “the secret” (pun intended) is an understanding most of us don’t have…
You are worthy of every good thing you can imagine for yourself.
That’s the core work of Mind Intensive.
And what Diane and I are doing in our projects together, including our “secret one.”
In the meanwhile…
Because asking for more starts that chain of events.
Without the willingness to BE that success, you’re gonna be a sucker for a lot of “get rich quick” deals that short circuit the process…and never work.
With it, your life becomes a thrill ride, a work of art and a legacy you can be proud of.
What have you wished for, imagined, visioned that has come true?
What did you have to let go of to make it happen?
