Don’t Get Mad, Get Fascinated!
Sorry for the darkness, but this is one of those “heat of the moment” videos.
We had just gotten out of lunch break at Deagan Smith’s Maximum Leverage seminar in Baltimore. The restaurant was absolutely horrible. Service was terrible, food was so-so. No one seemed to know what to do, and didn’t know enough to fix it.
Instead of getting angry, I got fascinated about how things went so wrong. My emotions shifted to trying to solve a difficult puzzle rather than being mad because my oyster po-boy still hadn’t come out after an hour.
What happens if you take your own anger, frustration and disappointment and shift it to fixing the puzzle of your own mess?
You have a really good chance of fixing it.
And you get very attractive to people who like your energy.
