There’s something you want…badly.
Even if you haven’t figured out what it is yet.
And I want you to have it.
When I spoke with the Summer School crowd yesterday about how they did building their online business this past week (while we were away) some of the success stories were phenomenal.
And a bunch of people didn’t do anything.
It inspired me to write this…
SUCCESS IS MATH.
I love you. I adore you.
And I want you to have the thing your heart desires. Business success, a fit body, romance … whatever.
That takes learning new skills and repeating them until you own them, then learning the next set of skills that come after that.
So whatever the reason is you didn’t do it, it doesn’t matter. Whether it’s because a family member was sick, you were socked with projects at work, a stomach virus, vacation, you got scared of the success, the moon was in the wrong phase…
It doesn’t matter.
There’s no judgment. There’s no points added or taken away for good reasons or bad excuses.
You either did the work to make it happen…or you didn’t. There’s no bargaining with that universal truth. Those who put the time and focus in, who do the work and learn from the mistakes are the ones who get the rewards.
Those who don’t…have an eternal invitation to start over from wherever they are.
Totally true. You’re either doing the things you need to succeed, or you aren’t.
BUT, There’s Good News…
There are certain characteristics of people who are more successful than others.
And those are things you can pick up any time you want.
1. CLARITY Knowing what you want, without having to cut through the nonsense of going after the wrong things (or trying to please other people).
2. SELF-RESPECT Valuing and honoring yourself enough to know you deserve to be successful…no matter what happened in the past.
3. DISCIPLINE Being able to design a plan for success, building in room for mistakes, and executing it. Doing the deal…everyday.
4. EMOTIONAL MATURITY Laughing at and learning from your mistakes. Realizing they’re part of the process and not letting them knock you out of the ballgame.
Once you have those, life becomes a LOT more fun.
Because everything you do is an adventure. A great one!
You become successful. But more importantly, you love the process of getting there!
I had a blast celebrating the success of one of those folks last night. She’s probably reading this right now!
She was willing to take herself seriously enough to lighten up and have some fun while digging in and working like her life depended on it.
HOW TO RECEIVE is the program I use for helping people get those four qualities, so that success becomes a done deal.
If you’re ready to value yourself enough, CLICK HERE and get started on that journey.
When have you been successful? What choices did you make that helped you get there?
What did you learn from the failures?
