It really doesn’t matter how badly you screwed up.
In my profession I run across all kinds of people. Strong ones, hurting ones, insecure ones.
And everything in between.
I recently ran across someone who is calling out for help in some very unhealthy ways. I told her…leading with insecurity is not going to get you anything you want.
All it will get you is your complementary pair, which is another insecure person.
And in her particular case she’s had about all the insecurity her body and spirit can bear.
Everyone has bad things that have happened to them. I have. You have. Your loved ones have.
We all have a space where we’re knocked back on our ass and we have to rebound.
But there are simply some things that are private. Too private to broadcast to the world.
It’s not about dishonesty. It’s about self-respect.
Giving yourself a sacred space to work on what’s wrong.
And giving yourself a fighting chance to get back in the game before you become someone else’s spectator sport. Their Jerry Springer public self-destruction exhibition.
We see versions of that all over social media. We call out looking for help from people who were totally unprepared to give it.
And that’s because many don’t really want help. They want company.
Did that one hurt? Good. Sometimes we need strong medicine.
Mind Intensive is an elite community of people who share their hurt privately, then immediately started healing from it. Got stronger. Became leaders from position of authority. And reaped the rewards that go with it..
Because I don’t care how badly you screwed up.
I believe in Comeback Power.
I believe in moving away from the self-identity of being a victim, and filling in the details of your life to guarantee more of the same. I believe in fresh starts. Honoring the past, then nuking it.
And believe in your ability to dig in, past the circumstances, past the pain, past the self-hatred for what you’ve allowed to happen…
And make your life a living work of art.
