An Alignment Truth Bomb from Edie Galley :
Being in alignment is an amazing thing…knowing when you are not so you can correct your course is too.
A Freedom Truth Bomb from Larry Hochman:
You can tell me, and yourself all day that what you want…is FREEDOM. And on a conscious level you may even believe it.
The reality is, there are so many paths to freedom it’s not even funny. But most people willfully and willingly blind themselves to those paths. You have all the talent and resources you need to obtain that freedom right now…and a hungry marketplace to help you get there.
All that’s missing are the skills to make it happen and the time to build the structure to make it happen.
The cost of freedom is COMMITMENT AND RESPONSIBILITY. Most people don’t want either of those, or feel they aren’t worthy of embracing them. The ones you truly see living lives of freedom paid the price.
Before you go through one more false start that erodes your confidence even more, position yourself for freedom by deciding you’re worth it, and worth doing the internal work to make the external work yield the results.
A Support Your Mate Truth Bomb from Warren Peterson :
Behind every great man is a woman who has gone through the fire with him.
She did not berate him. She did not tell him why it would not work. She did not gossip about him. She did not put him down in public, or in front of their children.
She did lift him up when he fell down. She did carry him through the mire. She did encourage him. She did support him. She did She did see the warrior man that was inside, and wouldn’t stop until that man came to life.
Ladies, you have incredible power. If you try to change him from the outside, that will lead to hurt, pain, confusion, depression, and worse. But, if you become his Champion, that will lead to incredible new places.
An Addition By Subtraction Truth Bomb from Tony Rush :
I think that removing people from your life is almost inevitable if you want to reach your full potential.
It doesn’t mean you hate them. It just means you respect yourself.
A Beauty Truth Bomb from Pam Wasilewski Patton:
I had a phone conversation with someone this morning and they told me that an individual we both know had said she believes that women who color their hair are fake and unnatural and are not being who they really are.
I guess this is what I have to say about THAT. First of all, I respect each woman’s individual choice to be who they want to be and to express their beauty in their own unique way—whether that means being grey, or having orange, pink, or blonde hair!
And secondly, girlfriend, as someone whose original roots are a mixture of black, brown, and grey: even though I color my hair blonde, I can say I’m more “real” at this point in my life and am being more genuine than I ever have! And I am so grateful to the person who invented hair color so that my bright and shiny outside can accurately reflect what’s going on on the inside!
Amen and hallelujah! LOL
And finally, a Perspective Truth Bomb from DeAnna Dimmitt :
We like to think that there is significance to individual moments, that we have finally arrived somewhere or become hopelessly stranded, but these are all just stepping stones.
Even an entire life is little more than a snapshot in time. Just as you don’t mourn the loss of the wooly mammoth, in 100 years no one will care about the brand of your handbag or the price of your car.
Why am I telling you all this? Honestly, because the voices in my dreams said to.
Just a reminder that when you think you’re in the thick of it, take a step back and put things in perspective.
Once we start to see beyond our own narrow viewpoint it becomes clear that we have a short time to be here, a long time to be gone, and that only a precious few things actually matter.
Which of these boomers shook you up? Got any of your own to add? Bring ’em on!!!
