What We All Want

People move in self-interest. They want what they want.
That’s exactly the way it should be.

I was having a discussion with one of my coaching students. She’s a talented speaker and trainer, and looking for ways to break through some self imposed limitations.
One of the things we’re working on is finding a way to get her written material in front of more eyeballs. It should be seen…it’s very life affirming and positive.
The problem is that her stuff is packed with messages about growth and spiritual development.
Sounds good, but…
Most people won’t work for “spiritual development.”
They work for money. And security. And success, however they define it.
(which is almost always money)
This woman is in love with her content.
As she should be.
It’s great content. But no one will read unless they perceive something real in it for them.
They work for profit.
As it should be.
People do what benefits and prospers them.
They work for profit.
As it should be.
Because when you have money, power, love, excitement, romance, extra candy bars, etc…
…you have it to give.
When I work with people it’s on a higher plane.
We elevate the level of discussion.
But we go after good stuff.
Money.
Love.
Flat belly, toned arms, firm butt.
Stuff that feels good.
We can operate on the spiritual plane of grace.
Because our tank is filled.
