I didn’t realize the NBA summer league was in Las Vegas. I do now!
A quick video on home business leadership after our Suite Retreat Mastermind in Las Vegas.
Leadership isn’t about telling people what to do. It’s about helping them find the best in themselves in working towards a shared goal.
And as I found out, we don’t have to know everything in order to be a leader. In fact the arrogance of thinking you know more then you do can hold you back from leadership.
Humility, compassion and the desire to do more and be more are the building blocks of a great leader.
And those are the qualities that will allow you to learn the skills of home business success…then teach them to those who are ready to learn.
While I was recording this, it occurred to me…
There was a time when I was “The Other Larry.”
It was when I didn’t have confidence in my body, in my physical presence, in the way I interacted with the world.
And that came out in everything I did, and in everything I failed to achieve.
I fixed that. Tai Chi was one way. Juggling was another.
If you want to feel confident in your business, in your relationships, in yourself, find a way to express it through your body.
Here’s one way…for the “other Larry.”
And by the way, if you want to succeed in home business, keep your eyes and ears open for what people want, then go to work on helping them get it.
And if you’re interested in some real Tai Chi fitness, taught by a master, check out the outstanding work of David-Dorian Ross. He’s the guy who taught me…and many, many others!
A great conversation with a new friend on Facebook, including that all important question.
Too many of us give into the luxury of worst case scenario thinking.
It holds us back from facing our fears, taking healthy risks, and growing into happy, productive business owners and people.
I had a conversation with a new friend recently. And happy to say..she’s already moving past her self-imposed limitations!
Crossing from Connecticut to Rhode Island is no big deal.
So crossing any boundary in your life is going to be as big or small a deal as you make it.
True in your home business, career, weight loss, relationships, you name it.
