While I was recording this, it occurred to me…
There was a time when I was “The Other Larry.”
It was when I didn’t have confidence in my body, in my physical presence, in the way I interacted with the world.
And that came out in everything I did, and in everything I failed to achieve.
I fixed that. Tai Chi was one way. Juggling was another.
If you want to feel confident in your business, in your relationships, in yourself, find a way to express it through your body.
Here’s one way…for the “other Larry.”
And by the way, if you want to succeed in home business, keep your eyes and ears open for what people want, then go to work on helping them get it.
And if you’re interested in some real Tai Chi fitness, taught by a master, check out the outstanding work of David-Dorian Ross. He’s the guy who taught me…and many, many others!
Great post, Larry. Keep it up.
Thanks, Scott. I intend to!
Great post Larry… Love Tai Chi…. studied and taught Chinese Martial arts as a young man… love the discipline and focus it teaches… thanks for sharing this
Love it! Getting your body moving on a regular basis has many benefits. Thanks for sharing.
Agreed, April. The brain is part of the body.
You understand it on a deep level then, Ron.
Thank for helping me find my own way, Larry
One of my goals is to go and live for a whole month practicing Thai Chi or other disciplines in Asia. The sense of growth and the level of wisdom you can get is priceless. Thanks for this post Larry!
Awesome! Unconsciously, we let others feel how confident or timid we are by the body movements we have. It shows in us and this is often overlooked.
Absolutely agree and needed this Larry!!! Spiritual balance and physical balance create a centered and confident being!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
What do they say?
80% of communication is non-verbal.
This post speaks to that and the messages we unknowingly send to others.
Thought provoking.
Thanks Larry
Wow, I never thought about how our body was used to express how we feel about out confidence. This is great post Larry, thanks!
It’s a package deal, Jean-Serge! Body, brain, confidence.
We’re an integrated whole, Juanita!
It’s so true, Mike!
My pleasure, Michael.
Go get that goal, Gordon!
I have to start doing Tai Chi Larry – my patients in the nursing home I work on do it every day and they love it!
Do you have any recommendations?
