Being Successful In Your Home Business Takes A Few Things.
But it also takes something most people don’t think too much about…
No, that’s not exactly the same as honesty. I don’t think anyone would argue against someone being honest, not stealing or lying, etc.
I’m talking about integrity on a different level.
The video above is my example. In a little while I’ll be heading out to the site of the 1964 Worlds Fair, in Flushing Meadow, New York.
That’s very close to where I grew up as a little boy, before we moved out to the suburbs.
I have great memories from that time. Exploring all the nooks and crannies of that big, giant, important seeming place.
If someone asks me about it, I get all lit up (as you’ll see in the video).
I can speak to it with enthusiasm, even if I don’t know every detail of the place.
I don’t. I haven’t been there in more than 20 years.
But I’ll be willing to say, “let’s go explore it together.”
If you want integrity in your home business, it has to be the same way.
You don’t have to know everything about it. In fact, I’d encourage you to avoid knowing everything about it!
But when it comes to enthusiasm and confidence, there’s nothing else that will make it seem authentic to the people you want to influence.
When you say, “let’s go explore this thing together; it’s a great place” you are lighting the fire of imagination and possibility.
There’s nothing sexier than that.
Integrity is when your emotions align with your words.
Don’t try and fake it. It always gets found out.
Dive into it. Explore it. And share it.
That is what will give your home business the integrity that will make it go.
