That’s Right…We Be KABOOMING!!!
.It’s getting pretty easy to find the Truth Bombs. Maybe because I’m getting better at noticing them.
Or maybe because the folks around me are raising their game!
Whichever…some hot and happy ones this week, and some hot peeps delivering the goods!
A Do Unto Others Truth Bomb from Marika Dye:
I think it’s funny how people complain about how others haven’t been in contact with them and/or threaten to delete people that haven’t contacted them but be the same person that hasn’t even tried to contact that same person.
It works both ways people. If you think about someone and realized they haven’t contacted you, pull that ego out of your behind and try contacting them to see if they respond. All people don’t do things deliberately nor maliciously like that. You might be surprised as to what you might learn just from making that first move.
A Parenting Truth Bomb from Tony Rush:
PARENTS: Here’s the problem with being satisfied with less than you deserve….
As a parent, you’re telling your kids that they can do anything they set their mind to….and that they achieve anything they want. And that’s great.
But, kids are smart. Smarter than we give them credit for.
And sooner or later, they’re going to notice if you’re not going for YOUR dreams. They’ll notice if you’re playing small. They’ll notice if you’re playing it safe.
And the moment they notice that…..you’ll either A) lose all your credibility with them or worse, B.) they’ll say, “Well, if Mom/Dad isn’t going for their dreams, why should I be any different?”
The most important thing you can do for your kids is to be an EXAMPLE and a DEMONSTRATION of what’s possible.
The clock is ticking. Go make some moves and make sure your kids see you winning.
A Perfection Truth Bomb from Kellan Fluckiger:
NO ONE ON EARTH IS PERFECT…
Only an idiot claims to be perfect…
Yet, there are moments of outrageous excellence, even moments of perfection…
Moments of incredible performance that seem almost surreal…
Moments of unbelievable connection between the earthly and the divine…
Moments of powerful revelation…
Moments of stunning accomplishment…
Moments of unbelievable inspiration…
And because these moments exist we can never stop striving, drawing blood, pouring out our hearts, leaving it all on the field, striving with incredible determination…
Because, the frequency of these undeniably incredible moments is directly proportional to the level of intensity we bring to life…
Your life is precious…
Your life is divine…
Why would you waste one second being less then you can be?…
Why would you deprive yourself and those around you of the opportunities that lay at every turn…
If only, you will give everything, every moment…
A Procrastination Truth Bomb from Ross Murker:
Perfectionism is merely procrastination attempting to masquerade as quality control.
A Trust Your Instincts Truth Bomb from Louise Deerson:
You have permission to do what feels ‘right’ – always.
If you get a strange ‘vibe’ from someone, you have permission to walk away. You are not obligated to spend your time with someone that gives you bad energy.
What? You had an appointment? So what.
YOUR time. YOURS. You choose who gets to enjoy it.
You don’t ever have to justify trusting yourself.
Give your self permission to walk away from anyone and anything that doesn’t feel right.
Trust yourself. Trust your judgement. Be comfortable qualifying people worthy of your time, your energy, your genius.
I have never in my life, ignored my inner voice, and it turned out to be a good thing. Ever.
Know that you are worth so much, you are a genius, you have barely scratched the surface of your potential. Don’t waste that on someone you don’t feel ‘synergy’ with. Its just not worth it.
A Self-Talk Truth Bomb from me:
Amazing, intelligent, talented, beautiful, competent people everywhere…and they’re STILL held back by false, screwy self-talk and self-perceptions that they wouldn’t accept from anyone else…but they swallow hook, line and sinker when they hear them in their own heads.
One more time…you are magnificent, strong and beautiful. Surrender to that…then we’ll go to work on the rest of it.
A Motivation Truth Bomb from DeAnna Dimmitt :
If you struggle with getting yourself to do the things you know you should do it’s likely that you’ve not yet identified a reason that is compelling enough to do them.
It’s likely that despite all the hype in the (social) media, that merely glorifying the ego is not a compelling enough reason to do something.
But there ARE other reasons.
Maybe living long enough to meet our grandchildren is a reason. Maybe being able to move freely and without pain is a reason. Maybe peace of mind is a reason. Maybe replenishing our own resources so that we have the capacity to help others is a compelling enough reason to do what needs doing.
The right answer to the question of WHY should I do something, is the answer that actually compels you to do it.
And finally, a Popularity Truth Bomb from Joel Comm:
If the President of the United States can’t get more than 50% of the people to like him, why should you expect everyone to like you?
Just be YOU.
Which of these KABOOMED you the hardest…and the happiest?
